FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JUNE 24, 2009
Neal Petersen was invited back to Guantanamo Bay by the XO Paul Mitchell through MWR, to provide another series of keynotes for the enlisted and leadership population. Neal’s “No Barriers” keynotes had such a profound impact he was immediately asked to present to the Marines serving Commander Willingham and twice to fire fighters.
Each keynote touches on the issues, they, as military enlisted, leadership, or civilian employees, face everyday.
Issues such as:
* Change
* Isolation
* Stress
* Depression
* Addiction
* Suicide
* Importance of Planning, Perseverance, Determination and Execution.
Many face the same challenges Neal encountered as a commercial diver, spending months on oil platforms and then as an international solo racing yachtsman, who completed, the “Around – Alone”, a 27,000 mile race, around the globe – 9 months at sea – in a boat he designed and built himself. It’s a story of overcoming insurmountable barriers to achieve his dream – facing life and death, always learning to turn obstacles into advantages.
As part of our recommendation, humorist, Doug Dvorak - www.dougdvorak.com traveled with us to provide an additional platform of laughter.
We are extremely flexible to work with. We arrive as a well-oiled package, Neal Petersen, keynote speaker and Doug Dvorak, humorist, to provide as many programs, half day/full day, keynotes, evening programs, etc, to encourage the philosophy - anything is possible!
